What started as a "what if" between two college buddies in the summer of 2008, quickly became a "can be" in the Winter of 2009, thankfully the approval of the better halves made it a true reality.  With one friend's taste for European Lagers and the other's zest for hoppy craft brews, the two worlds collide at the corner of Long and Edison Roads in the Chesterfield Valley at the iTAP.  It's a non-corporate place where we want to make friends, share stories and expand horizons.  St. Louis needs a chance to experience the art of brewing and taste the trappings of other cultures.  We not only aim to quench thirsts, harbor a magnetic social atmosphere but also provide an education into the spectrum of beer. 

From Boulder to Brussels on a barstool, is one of our favorite mantras. It's about beer but also drinking it responsibly in a space that makes everyone feel comfortable.  With seven big screen TVs and Direct TV delivering the NFL Sunday ticket, Setanta, GolTV and pretty much any sports event sent through space.  From the "Beautiful Game" the Giro or Tour or most every hardwood in the land...heck we can and will even tune in a KU game. The iTAP is not a sports bar, just a bar that loves sports. 
 
We are non-smoking by choice, but not anti-smoking.  Our patio that will eventually sprout in the spring will cater to those who need a smoke or simply want to spend the summer sipping brews outside. Lagers, India Pale Ales, Belgian Strong Ales, Lambics, Stouts, Porters, Pilsners, American Pale Ales.  They all fill the shelves of our massive reach-in cooler.  An eclectic selection of brews always grace our 40 draughts.  A constant rotation of beers keeps our draught list fresh and interesting.  However, if your favorite does not fill our shelves, let us know we will work with our distributors to try and bring it to you.  While we hope you will sit and stay for a few in our always comfortable atmosphere, our packaged liquor license allows you to take out a six pack or three.  While we have 2100 cubic feet of coolers to chill beer to the perfect point we don't have a kitchen, but we do have a food menu. 
 
You won't go hungry at iTAP.  Thanks to a partnership with our neighboring restaurants, order from us, we will get it from them and you can enjoy it with the perfect pour of beer.  We have spared no expense to make drinking beer a much more interesting and rewarding experience.  Even those just looking for a fun night out will find that we can satisfy that need as well.  Accoustic acts will frequent iTAP and we hope you will too.
